Hi {{First Name | member}},

Take a deep breath. Feel that? That’s the energy of a year well-lived, no matter how it unfolded.

Pausing to reflect is no small feat. It takes courage to look back—at the wins that made you proud, the struggles that tested your strength, and the quieter moments in between—and honor the journey that brought you here.

As I reflect on this year, I’m struck by how much has changed—not just for me, but for so many of us. 2024 has been a year of transformation. Some of you celebrated major milestones: engagements, weddings & anniversaries, career breakthroughs, promotions, new homes, new ventures and hitting personal achievements that were well-deserved victories.

This year also brought its fair share of challenges for some that demanded resilience: burnout, relationship struggles, health scares, career uncertainty, anxiety, and the pressures of family and life pulling you in every direction. Only you know what these moments have been like for you.

And within it all, many of you embraced quieter yet equally powerful growth: decluttering your home, exploring new hobbies, investing in friendships, or reflecting deeply on your life. These steps, no matter how small they seemed, carried immense meaning.

Whatever this year held, it was yours—and that’s something to celebrate. Life doesn’t come with a playbook, but every step you took—whether forward, sideways, or even backward—is a part of shaping your story.

And here’s the best part: you’re not done yet.

My Year: Growth, Transformation, and Redefining Success

For me, 2024 was one of the most eventful years of my life. I moved twice, sold my first home, left my job, got engaged, married the love of my life, took a few unforgettable trips, and launched Infinite Momentum. It’s been a whirlwind of change, filled with moments that will stay with me forever.

But it wasn’t without its challenges. There were sleepless nights, moments of stress and burnout, and plenty of “What am I doing?” questions. I faced difficult decisions that weren’t easy to push through, but each one brought me closer to clarity and a life more aligned with my values.

One lesson that stood out for me this year is the importance of community in navigating times of change. From friends who called when I felt unsettled in LA, to family, mentors, and peers offering advice, laughter, and encouragement, my community made all the difference. And having the best partner in my wife to navigate it all alongside me has shown me just how much relationships shape our lives.

Among the many moments that defined my year, one stands out as a surprising lesson in letting go.

A Lesson in Letting Go

After leaving my job, I signed up for a 76-mile (122 km) gran fondo bike ride to give myself a goal to chase. At the time, it didn’t hold much personal significance, but I was struggling with a lack of direction and clung to it as something productive to focus on.

As the event approached, calendar conflicts meant that completing the ride would mean missing two weddings of close friends. Historically, I’ve almost never let go of a goal once I’ve set it, so I held tightly to the idea of finishing this ride no matter what. But as the date drew closer, I missed the first friend’s wedding and felt terrible. I realized that fixating on a goal that was fairly meaningless at this stage was blinding me to what truly mattered.

Showing up for my friends and being with my people meant more to me than spending eight hours chasing a finish line that was never truly that important to me. The bike ride could wait—special moments with my friends couldn’t. So, I changed my plans and, for the first time, didn’t beat myself up about it, able to make the second wedding. [Sorry again for the late RSVP, Jay!]

Shifting from this…

… to this.

These decisions may seem small, but they were meaningful. For my younger self, it would’ve been impossible to drop a goal. Letting go of that fixed mindset brought me closer to living in alignment with my values and showed me how much I’ve grown. For that, it stands out as one of the (many) meaningful moments of 2024.

Change Begins When You Do

Discomfort is often the first sign of change. If things don’t feel different, they won’t be different.

My brother is great about staying consistent with his workouts, so while I was home, he got me to the gym more days than not—including at 6:45 a.m. on Christmas Day. Definitely not what I had in mind when I flew home for the holidays. It felt so strange heading to the gym in the dark, before opening any gifts, and seeing six other people already there. I remember thinking, “Man, this feels different.”

Then it hit me: If I want things to change in my life, it should feel different. It needs to feel different.

Not a typical Christmas.

We often talk about wanting change, but we stay stuck in routines that keep us exactly where we are. The decision to wake up earlier, take a chance, or show up differently—those are the beginnings of transformation.

This year, I’m working to celebrate discomfort as a sign that I’m on the right track, rather than something to avoid. If you’re ready for 2025 to feel different, it’s time to step outside the familiar, embrace discomfort, and take action.

Let’s Make 2025 Extraordinary

This is your year. A year to dream bigger, act bolder, and live with intention. Here’s how we can start together:

  1. Reflect on 2024
What are you most proud of? What moments stretched you, and what did they teach you? Maybe it was achieving a big goal, or maybe it was simply holding steady during a difficult season. Take a moment to honor your progress—every step matters.

  2. Set Your Vision for 2025
Close your eyes and picture your ideal year. What’s different? How do you feel? What have you achieved? Let that vision excite you—it’s your guide for the road ahead.

  3. Write Down Three Bold Goals
Grab a notebook or your phone. Write three things you’re proud of from 2024. Then write your vision for 2025 and three bold goals to make it real. Commit to one small action today—it could change everything.

You’re Capable of More

The version of you who dreams of something bigger—the one who wants to be healthier, more fulfilled, more adventurous—is already inside you. The key is unlocking that potential with intention, effort, and belief.

2025 isn’t just another year. It’s YOUR year. The year you step fully into your power, break through old barriers, and create the life you’ve been waiting for.

Together, We Rise

You don’t have to do this alone. As we each reflect on 2024 and dream of what’s next, we create a ripple effect of energy and momentum. Together, our stories inspire and strengthen one another. This community is here to support you, celebrate with you, and cheer you on every step of the way. Please let me know how I can best support you!

This Is Your Moment

Whether 2024 was a year of triumph, transition, or simply holding steady, it was yours—and you navigated it as best you could.

Picture yourself one year from now, reflecting on 2025. What does that version of you feel like? What are you proud of? What moments made it all worth it?

Hold onto that vision and let it guide you forward. Together, let’s make 2025 unforgettable.

Here’s to 2025: bold, limitless, and extraordinary.

Yours in service,
Eric

P.S. If you’re looking for a bit more structure, I’ve included a simple worksheet to support your reflections. Use it as a guide to expand on these prompts and set your path for the year ahead.
