Happy Wednesday {{ First Name | my friend }},

Yesterday was for reflecting on career change; today is about taking action.

It’s Wednesday of the first full week back, and those holiday goals of “This year, I’ll be more active” might already feel distant. Don’t let them slip! Today is the perfect day to start—no excuses.

We also have twelve new members joining the community this week, which is exciting! Let’s go!

Infinite Momentum Challenge Update

The Infinite Momentum Strava Challenge is off to an amazing start! Several members have joined so far, and the energy is contagious:

  • Cedric kicked off his year with a late-night Zwift session at 8:30 PM.

  • Brody upgraded his Strava just to join—and he’s already crushing it!

  • Jervin logged his 2nd fastest 5-mile ride.

  • Brian and James are steadily logging miles.

  • Curt… well, we’re still waiting for him to join!

Some photos from week one.

The competition is heating up, but it’s not too late to join. Every 30 minutes of activity counts toward an entry for a prize, whether you’re walking, running, cycling, or trying something new. Signing up is your first win—and from there, it’s all about showing up for yourself.

This challenge isn’t just about beating others; it’s about consistency and building habits that last. Whether you’re setting PRs or simply moving more than last week, the goal is progress.

Not signed up yet? Here’s how to join. Let’s make it happen!

If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect time” to start, consider this your nudge: today is always the best day to get moving. Let’s go!

The Power of Habit Tracking

Building strong habits doesn’t happen overnight, but you can strengthen them daily. That’s why I’m a big fan of habit trackers—they keep your goals visible and make small wins feel rewarding.

This January, I went old school and printed out a habit tracker (yes, printed!). Inspired by James Clear’s Atomic Habits, I placed it somewhere I see every day (Make It Obvious). There’s something satisfying about physically checking off each day—a little dopamine hit that keeps the momentum going.

To-do list: Get new color ink cartridge

If you haven’t read Atomic Habits yet, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s one of the best books I’ve ever read, packed with practical strategies for building better habits and breaking unproductive ones. Here’s a summary if you’re short on time.

Want inspiration? Here are the seven habits of people who live the longest to spark ideas:

  1. The Strength Train

  2. They’re on the move

  3. They eat a whole foods diet

  4. They limit alcohol

  5. They sleep better

  6. They look on the bright side

  7. They supplement smartly

Check out my January habit tracker below. It’s very simple. Or create your own list tailored to your goals.

While many people swear by apps like Habit, I’ve found that going analog helps me stay intentional without adding more screen time or notifications.
